For quick redressal of the problems of pensioners of the State, a new cell has been set up at Accountant General Office (AGO), Shimla. Disclosing this at a seminar organized at Chamba today, Vivek Bhaskar, Deputy Accountant General said that employees had been deputed at the reception counter of AG office to facilitate the pensioners and to provide them proper information.
Vivek Bhaskar said that the drawing and disbursing officers of the departments had been asked to redress the cases of pension on priority basis. He said that prescribed format of pension related documents had been made available on the website of the Accountant General which could be downloaded by the Departments.
