Speaker Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Brij Behari Lal Butail said that the Himachal Road Transport Corporation has sanctioned Rs 35 lakh for the repair of Palampur bus stand. This amount will be spent on resurfacing of the bus stand premises.
Butail said that he had directed the HP PWD authorities to take up the repair work of the bus stand immediately so that the public should not face any difficulty. He also lambasted over the previous BJP Govt and said that in the last five-year regime of the BJP, not even a single brick was added to the bus stand.
He also ensured the people of Palampur to complete the work of incomplete construction works in the town soon. He also said that road connectivity in the Palampur assembly segment is on his priority and all the village roads would be repaired in the coming months.
