Mumbai man Unmesh Nayak won the Ultra Half Marathon in Shimla, clocking 2:35 for the distance of 28 kms. German Sabrina Schmidt Koschella win women’s event clocked 2:59 for 28-km.
In the half marathon category (21kms), Sunil Singh clocked 1:43 to win the event. He was followed by Madal Lal who clocked 1:45 while Virendra Rautela clocked 1:52 for a third place finish. Rakhee Sharma clocked 2:58 to win the women’s half marathon while Smita Barapatre (3:04) and Barnali Das (3:05) followed her. Event was organised by the Running And Living.
