Shimla: In a case of missing file from the office of the H.P. Administrative Tribunal, two Tribunal officials were found guilty and have been penalized by way of compulsory retirement from the Government service.

H.P. Administrative Tribunal spokesman said an internal inquiry was conducted, and two officials, record keeper Padam Dass and chowkidar Maheshwar Parkash, were found guilty.

After leading daily paper revelation, it was found that 5,370 decided case files and 12 registers were found missing from the office of the H.P. Administrative Tribunal at Majitha House, Chhota Shimla. At the instance of High Court of Himachal Pradesh, an internal inquiry by Deputy Registrar (JB) and Registrar Vigilance, H.P High Court, was initiated against the said record keeper and chowkidar and both of them were found guilty in the inquiry.
