A meeting of Board of Directors of H.P. Minorities Finance and Development Corporation Shimla was held here today under the Chairmanship of Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Col. (Dr.) Dhani Ram Shandil.
Dr. Shandil disclosed that loans worth Rs. 3.55 crore had been disbursed to the people of minorities and persons with disabilities during this financial year till the month of September. He said that 85 beneficiaries of minority communities had been given funds amount to Rs. 2.24 crore while 34 persons with disabilities had been provided loans to the tune of Rs. 1.31 crore.
P.C. Dhiman, Principal Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment, C. S. Singh Managing Director, H.P. Minorities Finance and Development Corporation, Tapender Singh, Liyakat Ali Khan and Ashok Messi Non official Members of the BoD were also present in the meeting.
