Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Brij Bihari Lal Butail called on Governor Urmila Singh at Raj Bhawan here today and detailed about the e-vidhan system.
Butail informed that e-vidhan system has been recently established in the State Assembly. He said that after installation of e-vidhan system, the State Assembly has become hi-tech and the assembly would run on this system from Monsoon Session of the Vidhan Sabha.
Speaker said that this system would provide the facility of e-voting and would help in proper time management from the next session in the State Assembly.
He informed that if any member of the House wants to show any problem of his/her area through video clips by Call Attention Motion then the member would be able to show it on LED Screen after his permission.
Urmila Singh congratulated Butail for installing e-vidhan system.
Secretary, Vidhan Sabha Sunder Singh Verma and Director, IT Dharmesh Kumar Sharma were also present on the occasion.
