Kangra: Senior Congress leader and Transport Minister GS Bali rejected Modi wave in Himachal and advised BJP prime Minister candidate to refrain from making comments on Congress leaders.

In a press conference here today, GS Bali claimed that Modi had nothing to present to the country, therefore he started presenting Gujarat as a model of development. Bali claimed Modi’s achievements lists were just a media created and far from the reality.

Bali believed Gujarat Model of development wasn’t applicable in the whole country and it’s just propaganda to catch the voters’ attention ahead of Lok Sabha Election.

Bali, a key minister in Virbhadra Singh government, advised Narender Modi to stop propagating the development of Gujarat with the people of Himachal Pradesh. He said that Himachal has already attained lot of development in the field of education, health, human index and overall it’s doing better then Gujarat.

GS Bali credited the development of the state to the successive Congress government. He said that the NIFT Kangra, Central University Dharamsala, DRPGMC Tanda, NIT Hamirpur, Rajeev Gandhi Govt Engineering College Nagrota Bagwan, Vidhan Sabha Tapovan and IIIT Una were the contribution of the Congress government.

He accused state BJP for playing of politics of opportunity and never touched local issues. He also slammed BJP leaders for making baseless accusation against state government.

Bali also lambasted at Yog Guru Ramdev and termed his Yog Camp in Himachal as political platform to campaign for BJP candidates. He stated that Ramdev has become an agent of BJP and to gain votes for BJP, he’s crossing all limits and even insulting Dalits.
