To ensure maximum participation of electorates in the 2014 parliamentary election, Election Commission working hard and has launched special campaign to enroll all those who have not registered the Electoral Rolls. Chief Electoral Officer Narender Chauhan revealed that if name of any person is not included in the Electoral Rolls they could apply on form number six (6) for enrolling themselves therein.

Chauhan said that one can contact to the Booth level Officer of concerned booth/ Electoral Registration Officer (SDM)/ Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (Tehsildar/ Naib Tehsildar)/ District Electoral Officer (Deputy Commissioner) for verification of his name in the electoral rolls.

He said that Electoral lists of all the assembly constituencies had been made available on the website of Election Department under Electoral Rolls (PDF files) link. This facility was also available online on the e-registration link on the departmental website, he added.

Election Commission is also striving hard to ensure free and fare election.
