Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh budget session started on stormy note as the opposition BJP walked out in between Governor Urmila Singh’s address, protesting that Governor is silent of corruption charges against Govt and haven’t mentioned opposition “charge sheet” in her speech.

BJP legislators accused that Governor for being silent on issues of corruption against the government. Irate legislatures described the speech as laced with fabricated government’s developmental achievements and staged a walkout.

Leader of Opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal stated that Governor Speech hasn’t mentioned about the party’s charge sheet against the government on corruption and prevailing law and order situation. He accused that the mining mafia were active on state border and transporting sand illegally to neighboring state. He alleged those mining mafias were enjoying the patronage of the state government.

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh condemned the BJP’s action and called it as a deep frustration of opposition. He accused that BJP legislatures have no regard for the constitution, norms and conventions.
