Protesting to increase bus fare in state, the Private Bus Operators observed a statewide strike. Except rush hours, bus operators strike failed to make any impact as Himachal Road Transport Corporation provided bus services facility to the commuters.
Transport Minister G.S. Bali said that the strike of the Private Bus Operators on Monday failed to make impact in the State. Bali said that the strike was generally a failure in the State except in Shimla district. He said that Himachal Road Transport Corporation provided bus services facility to the commuters. He thanked the employees of the Corporation for working over time to provide bus services to the people of the State.
