Sai Engineering Foundation contributed Rs. Twenty One Lakh towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for carrying out relief and rehabilitation works in Kinnaur district. The cheque was presented by Raj Kumar Verma, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sai Engineering Foundation to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. Pramod Sharma, BOD Member HPSIDC was also present on the occasion.
Raj Kumar apprised the Chief Minister that Sai Engineering Foundation was a voluntary organisation which was working in the State for the welfare of people and was engaged in social activities like health, education, environment sectors and disaster mitigation. He said that the employees of the foundation have also decided to donate one day salary towards C.M. Relief Fund.
Another donation came from H.P. State Industrial Development Corporation as it donated Rs. 21 lakh towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri presented a cheque on behalf of H.P. State Industrial Development Corporation to CM. Tarun Shridhar, Principal Secretary, Industries, Ajay Bhandari, Managing Director, SIDC, Mohan Chauhan, Director, Industries and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
Ramgadhia Gurudwara Sabha Kaithu, Shimla also contributed towards C. M. Relief Fund as Sabha presented a cheque of Rs. one lakh to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. Shankar Singh, President of Sabha hand over a cheque to CM where Gurcharan Singh Bhogal, Gurcharan Singh Saimbi, Hari Krishan Dhiman, Malkiyat Singh and Amarjeet Singh were also present on the occasion.
Officers and employees of H.P. Economics and Statistics Department contributed Rs. fifty one thousand towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Economic Advisor Pradeep Chauhan and other officers and employees of the department were also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister thanked the corporation for the noble gesture and said that this would go a long way in mitigating the sufferings of the people affected by floods in various parts of the State.
