Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh inaugurated the academic block of Nursing Training Institute of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Advancement of Professional Education Society (HIMCAPES) constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.75 crore at Badhera in Haroli of district Una. He also laid foundation stone of multi-specialty Hospital of HIMCAPES to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 crore.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that the efforts of HIMCAPES for running educational institute in cooperative sector were a source of inspiration for others. He said that this organization had emerged as premier institute in short span and had made rapid strides in the education sector.

Chief Minister announced a high mast light and an ambulance for Nursing Training Institute HIMCAPES. He said that the link road to the college would also be improved. Virbhadra Singh honoured Jitender Kumar, student of HIMCAPES who stood first in LLB Honours in 2007-2012 batch of HPU, Shimla.

Mukesh Agnihotri, Industries Minister said that HIMCAPES had earned name in education sector by imparting quality education to the students. He said that previous BJP Government did not give permission to the Society for running nursing classes. He thanked the Chief Minister for fulfilling the various demands of the HIMCAPES.

Capt. Jagdev Singh, Chairman, HIMCAPES welcomed the Chief Minister and Secretary HIMCAPES Satya Prakash also spoke on the occasion. Kisan Union, Pandoga presented a cheque of Rs. 31,000 and Capt. Jagdev Singh, Chairman, HIMCAPES Rs. 21,000 to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Transport Minister G.S Bali, Forest Minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri, Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma, former Minister and MLA Kuldeep Kumar, MLA, Rakesh Kalia, Vice Chairman, HRTC Kewal Singh Pathania, Bawa Hardeep Singh, State INTUC President and Chairman, H.P. Building and Other Constructions Workers Welfare Board former Vice Chairman, Agro Packaging Onkar Sharma, District Congress President Virender Dharmani, President, Haroli Block Congress Ranjeet Singh Rana and other prominent people of the area were present on the occasion.
