In priorities of annual plan meeting for 2013-14, Balbir Singh Verma, MLA Chopal constituency, demanded for filling up vacant posts of different categories in PWD, Health, IPH, Education, and other departments. He also asked for a separate policy for appointments in far flung areas of the State.
Vacant posts in PWD, Health, IPH, Education, and other departments in Chopal segment were the topics of debate during the 2012 assembly election campaign and Balbir Verma had promised to force government to fill all vacant posts.
Dilapidated conditions of main and connecting roads, drinking water are other problems in the segment that people of Chopal are hoping MLA will look into as well, and will provide their basic rights from the State Govt., which was allegedly ignored from last three decade. Various panchayats in Chopal assembly segment are still deprived of road facilities.
