Wanted in a Jyoti murder case, the Himachal Congress MLA, Ram Kumar Chaudhary has surrendered at Panchkula court in Haryana today. He has been taken into custody by police and likely to be produced in court today.

Earlier on Monday, the Haryana Police had announced a cash reward of Rs. 2 lakh for information on him after he went missing.

Ram Kumar Chaudhary, who is a son of four-time Congress MLA Lajja Ram, was wanted in Jyoti murder case, who was found dead in Sector 21, Panchkula, on November 22. Initial probe had established the involvement of MLA Chaudhary and three others.
