In a tragic accident, four persons died and two children were seriously injured, when a Maruti car met with an accident on the Majhewali link road near Koshgar under the Jhakri police station in Rampur.
The police said four occupants of the Maruti car – Sant Ram (35), Anil Kumar (28), Sidhu Ram (45) and the driver, Chauhan Singh, – died on the spot. Meanwhile, two minor children of the driver, Harmit and Samola, sustained serious injuries. Police said that the rash driving was the cause of the accident.
