HLP leader Shyama Sharma, who is contesting election from Nahan assembly segment, is hoping to clinch the seat for the newly floated party. She claimed to get good response from the electorates and stated that with the response from the voters she is now more energetic to lead the region for the development. She alleged that the BJP led Govt has ignored Nahan segment and its dilapidated roads and water woes are live example of it. She said that the roads leading to Nahan and its adjoining area is in bad shape and big pits are causing inconvenience to the daily commuters. She said that in the last four and half years of BJP rule, development of Nahan has come to standstill. She stated that as compare to the other region Nahan has suffered to the political fallout and partial attitude and faulty policies of the State Govt had hindered its development. She added that Nahan is one of the beautiful places in Himachal Pradesh and has huge tourism potential, but Govt has failed to develop it as tourist place.
