Congress Senior leader Digvijay Singh seems confident about Congress good show in the forthcoming assembly election. Digvijay Singh is on his Shimla to attend a convention of the All India Kashtriya Federation. In the press conference at Congress office he blamed BJP led Govt for petronising corrupt people. He alleged that BJP has alloted land, near Chail, donated by Raja of Patiala to HP Govt, to Baba Ramdev and his aide Balkrishna, who is involved in money laundering and financial irregularities and right now booked under non-bailable offence. He alleged that Balkrishna has evaded Rs.40 crore income tax and Rs.22 crore sales tax.

He also quashed Himachal Govt’s claim about the insufficient funds from the centre Govt and added that BJP is just trying to hide its incompetence and inefficiency by blaming centre for the insufficient funds for development activities in State. He applaud former Congress Chief Ministers Dr. Y.S Parmar, Thakur Ram Lal and Virbhadra Singh for shaping Himachal into present form, where slandered of life is much higher then the other state of India.

Digvijay Singh also protected party senior leader Virbhadra Singh and said that it was a part of dirty politics and his involvement in a CD case of 1989, when such technology did not even exist. He believes that Virbhadra Singh will come out clean soon.

He also welcomes the decision of Rahul Gandhi to play a bigger role in politics, and said that he deserves bigger role in the government. However, when asked about his choice for Rahul he said that he want him to strengthen party base.

Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh also accused Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal of being an agent of the BJP. He alleged that Kejriwal is working like a BJP’s agent. He alleged that Kejriwal has never criticised the Gujarat government for not having the Lokayukta in Gujarat. He even did not criticise the BJP governments in Karnataka and Chhattisgarh for corruption. He added that Kejriwal’s NGO should be banned as it has received huge funds from abroad.
