Cash and gold and silver jewellery amounting to Rs. 35 lakh were stolen from an ancient Narayan temple in a Hurba village of Rupi Panchayat in Kinnuar district.

The thieves broke open locks of the temple doors and decamped with cash and gold and silver ornaments amounting to Rs. 35 lakh. The robbery came to light on Tuesday morning when villagers came to offers prayers in the temple. Police has registered a case and investigating in it.
