The fifth meeting of the HP Micro and Small Facilitation Council, which was constituted as per the provisions made under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (MSMED Act-2006) was held under the Chairmanship of J.S. Rana, Director Industries.
In the meeting, four references for the delayed payment amounting to Rs. 1,82,76,967 of the Micro & Small enterprises namely M/s Jaynti Polymers Industries, Baddi, M/s Process equipment India, Ponta Sahib, M/s Himachal Wires Industries (P) Ltd, Damtal and M/s Himachal Aluminum and Conductors, Mohthli, Kangra were received and the matter of the delayed payment to the aggrieved parties were discussed. Under the guidance of the Director of Industries the reference made by M/s Process equipment India, Ponta Sahib was partly settled to the point of making the delayed payment of Rs. 31,00,000 of the principal amount by the defaulting buyer.
In the reference of M/s Jaynti Polymers Industries, Baddi, the Chairman of the council directed to settle their dispute and inform this council. In the reference made by M/s Himachal Aluminum and Conductors, Mohthli, Kangra the defaulting buyer consented to settle the dispute within a month time.
