Vikramaditya Singh Wins Himachal Youth Congress Election With a Margin of 3485 Votes

Vikramaditya Singh has been elected the president of the Himachal Youth Congress. He got 5,919 votes and his nearest competitor R. S. Bali could secure 2434 votes. Incumbent President of Himachal Youth Congress, Manmohan Singh Katoch received a meager 457 votes. Others in the race included Sajid with 122 votes, Ritesh Kaprate with 111 votes, Vivek Kumar at 101 votes and another 8 competitor who could not reach three figures.

As the runners up, R. S Bali will be the de-facto deputy to Vikramaditya Singh. Earlier, Vikramaditya had expressed reluctance for contesting the election, but with pressure from his supporters, he fought the election and secured an unprecedented victory in his first ever political appearance.
