The first meeting of HP Micro & Small Facilitation Council meets and J.S. Rana, Director, Industries preside it. In the meeting, four references for the delayed payment amounting to Rs. 1.16 crore of Micro & Small enterprises namely M/s Brookes Laboratories, Baddi, M/s Cure Quick, Remedies, Karnal, M/s Cure Quick Pharmaceuticals, Karnal, M/s Euro Med, Karnal, M/s Intrax Systems, Baddi and Ajmer Vidyut Vitrtan Nigam, Rajasthan were received and the matter of the delayed payment to the aggrieved parties was discussed.

Rana directed the defaulters to make the delayed payment to the suppliers and come back to the Facilitation Council on 25th August, 2011 for the final settlement. He said that the Council had been constituted to facilitate Micro and Small Enterprises to settle the dispute of delayed payment for the goods supplied by the Micro and Small Suppliers to Buyers.

The council has been constituted as per the provisions made under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006.
