Kangra Central Cooperative Bank employees donated Rs.9, 99,999 to the Chief Minister Relief Fund. Chairman R.S. Mankotia presented draft to Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal. The amount is one day salary contribution of the employees of the Bank towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and Chairman of the Bank.

Chief Minister thanked the employees and management of the Kangra Central Cooperative Bank and appreciated their generosity of donating their one day salary towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He said that large number of poor and deserving people had been meeting him daily seeking financial assistance for various critical ailments and other genuine reasons. He said that best efforts were being made to provide maximum financial help to all of them to meet their medical and other emergency expenses. He said that it would not had been possible to help them without the generosity shown by the donors from different walks of life who had been liberal in making donations from time to time to the Fund. Dhumal also appeal people to come forward and donate liberally towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund which is a pious service towards the suffering humanity.
