The one day Red Cross fair would be held on 9th June 2012 at historic Ridge, Shimla. Governor, Urmila Singh would inaugurate the fair and Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal would be the Chief Guest on the closing ceremony.
This was stated by Sheela Dhumal, Chairperson of Himachal Pradesh Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section while presiding over the meeting here today. She said that the Mela was an annual affair which helps in collection of funds to be utilized in helping the poor and the needy in their hour of distress. She appealed to the people to come forward for donating towards Red Cross Fund voluntarily.
Bimla Kashyap, MP, Chandna Roy, Vice-Chairperson, HP Hospital Red Cross Welfare Society,. Neerta Akre, Saroj Bhardwaj, Firoz Vijay Singh, Secretary, HP Red Cross Society, Deepak Sharma were present in the meeting among others.
