Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh inaugurated the Women Police Station at Dharamsala.
Chief Minister said that such police stations would provide easy access to the women in registering complaints. He said that such police stations would be opened all over the State in a phased manner.
It’s second Women Police Station in Himachal Pradesh as earlier in August first Women Police Station was inaugurated at New Shimla.
Sanjay Kumar, Director General of Police also welcomed the Chief Minster.
Later, Chief Minister also inaugurated a bridge over Manjhi rivulet at Chetru constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.12 crore.
Technical Education, Transport & Food and Civil Supply Minister G.S. Bali, Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma, legislatures from kangra district, Chairman, Kangra Central Co-operative Bank, Jagdish Sapehiya, Vice-Chairman HP State Forest Corporation, Kewal Singh Pathania, were also present on the occasion amongst other.
