Himalayan Welfare Foundation Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the State Labour and Employment Department, organising Rozgar Mela on 24th of this month at Kumarsain in Shimla district. Vice-chairman, H.P. State Industrial Development Corporation, Atul Sharma, in his press communiqué revealed that several private companies from Baddi, Barotiwala, Nalagarh, Parwanoo and Kala Amb area would be participating.
Sharma said that this would provide a golden opportunity to educated youth and ITI diploma holders of the area. He said that the interested candidates would get an opportunity for ‘Walk-in-interview’ at their doorsteps to get jobs in private sector.
He said that the Himalayan Welfare Foundation Himachal Pradesh in collaboration with Gram Panchayat Kumarsain would also organize a Health Care Camp on the eve of birthday of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on 22nd and 23rd of this month. He said that free medicines would be distributed by IGMC authorities and other donors on this occasion.
Sharma added that in this camp, artificial limbs, wheel chairs, rotators, surgical shoes, brail writing equipments, spectacles and hearing aid machines would also be distributed by the Composite Regional Centre, Sundernagar to the physically disabled people with more than 40 percent disability.
Atul said that monthly income limit of the beneficiaries to be eligible for getting artificial limbs should not exceed Rs. 15,000, whereas 50% rebate would provided on these equipments to beneficiaries whose monthly income was between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. He said that the beneficiary would be required to produce photo copy of Caste Certificate, if applicable.
