Chief Minister of the State, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, dedicated the newly developed Van Vihar Vatika adjacent to the world famous shrine of Baba Balak Nath, developed at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh for the devotees visiting the shrine. He also planted ‘Rudraksha’ sapling on the occasion. Prof. Dhumal while addressing the gathering said that the Government was endeavouring to create quality infrastructure to cater to the requirements of the visitors especially the devotees visiting shrines in different parts of the state. He hoped that the new campus developed area the temple would also facilitate the devotees.
Chief Minister said that parking was also being developed between Shah Talai and Temple area at Deoth Sidh. He appealed to the people to protect such parks so that these could look beautiful for all the time to come. He cautioned the people not to use plastic and bring the same to the state since they could be fined for the offence. Chief Minister also directed the departmental authorities to properly maintain the park and ensure that the people visiting park did not litter the place rather respected the property.
