Shimla: The State Level Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority approved seven new proposals for setting up of industrial projects in the State in its 76th meeting held here today.

In the meeting, presided by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, authority also approved 11 expansions/ revised proposals of the existing units with combined proposed investment of about Rs. 744 crore which would provide employment opportunities to about 1345 persons.

The proposal of Emmbros Autocomp Ltd., Gautam Auto, Drish Shoes Ltd., Unit-V, VPP Flavours Private Limited, Gem Tree Natural Produce Pvt. Ltd and Himalaya Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd., were approved for setting up new unit in Himachal, while Pinnacle Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., Jupiter International Ltd., Deluxe Integrated Cold Chain Pvt. Ltd., Naisa Laboratory, R.M. Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. Unit-II and Winsome Textile Industries Limited, proposals for expansion were approved.

Irrigation and Public Health Minister Vidya Stokes, Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, acting Chief Secretary Vineet Chaudhary, Additional Chief Secretaries V.C. Pharka & Tarun Sridhar, Principal Secretary MPP& Power, S.K.B.S. Negi, Principal Secretary Industries R.D. Dhiman, Director Industries Rajinder Thakur and other senior officiers were present at the meeting.
