NGO Almighty Blessings

To easy the load of cancer hospital Shimla, the Himachal Pradesh Government endeavoring to open a new and bigger Cancer Hospital in the suburbs of Shimla town with adequate space, enough room and parks to stroll.

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh revealed it after inaugurating free canteen service started by Almighty Blessings, an NGO in cancer hospital, IGMC, Shimla today.

CM said that the present cancer hospital started as a small unit initially and today had expanded a lot but still there was not enough ideal space around the campus.

He lauded the efforts of the Almighty Blessings Organization for starting free canteen services and exhorted the people to come forward and voluntarily donate for the poor and the needy. He said there was no dearth of such persons who want to serve the poor but they need to be organized and their efforts to be coordinated.

The Chief Minister said that around 165 bighas of land had been identified on the outskirts of the town for the second campus of the IGMC. The Kamla Nehru hospital will have a separate mother-child hospital, he added.

Vikramaditya Singh, President HP State Youth Congress, Harish Janartha, Vice-chairman HP Tourism Development Corporation, Dinesh Malhotra, Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, D.W. Negi Superintendent of Police, Shimla, S.S. Kaushal, Principal IGMC, Dr. Ramesh Chand, Sr. Medical Superintendent, Sarabjeet Singh, President of the Almighty Blessings organization, Faculty members, Staff of the hospital were present on the occasion amongst others.
