Health and Family Welfare Minister Kaul Singh Thakur called on Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan at New Delhi today and raised the matter to maintain the MBBS seats in Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, Kangra as used to be earlier.
Kaul Singh Thakur apprised the Union Minister that counseling for 200 students had been completed during current session for both these colleges. He also informed that adequate teaching faculties were available in these colleges.
Union Heath Minister assured that keeping in view the interest of the students; the matter would be considered sympathetically.
