New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh met Congress General Secretary and party in-charge of HP Ambika Soni and presented his version on the corruption charges leveled by BJP.

It’s learned that HP Chief Minister has explained his side and also shown certain documents pertaining to the matter to her.

Earlier yesterday, Virbhadra Singh had rushed to the New Delhi to explain his position to the party high command after BJP allegations of corruption against him. Earlier, Arun Dhumal and recently BJP senior leader Arun Jailey had accused Singh for taking bribe for giving extension to power company.

Virbhadra Singh has slammed the opposition party of indulging in “malicious propaganda” against him and his family and denied the allegations saying they were “politically motivated”. In his eight pages long statement, Singh has clarified Jaitley’s charges point by point.

Singh was also schedule to meet party Chief Sonia Gandhi Rahul Gandhi, but could not meet them as they were not in capital.
