The Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission has issued notices to five private universities for the non-compliance of the admission norms prescribed by it.

After a scrutiny of details of the admissions in undergraduate engineering courses submitted by 16 private universities, the Regulatory commission has found irregularities in admission process by five universities viz. Shoolini University, Manav Bharti University, Baddi University of Emerging Science and Technologies, APG University and Sri Sai University, Commission has issued notices and asked them to explain why action should not be taken against them for the violations.

Regulatory Commission has summoned the registrars of these universities to appear before the it along with the relevant records on September 3.
