Himachal Vidhan Sabha speaker Brij Bihari Lal Butail revealed that central Govt has released the complete amount of Rs 8.61 crore for e-Vidhan Sabha project in the state. Butail revealed it after meeting union IT minister Kapil Sibal in New Dehli.

Butail said complete constituency management for members will be developed under the project under which members will be able to monitor current status of the activities happening in their constituencies from any where on their own convenient time.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker said that the project will automatize the total process involved in working of legislative assembly and its secretariat including the working of various committees and members of the assembly by providing highest emphasis on integration of all Govt departments for physical and financial monitoring of schemes/ programmes approved by Vidhan Sabha under e-Vidhan Sabha project.

Earlier Butail called on UPA chairperson and congress Chief Sonia Gandhi, Ambika Soni and top central leadership as courtesy call and invited them to visit the Himachal Pradesh during monsoon season.
