A delegation of School Management Committee (SMC) Teachers Association led by its State President Setender Sharma, met the Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh at his official residence, oak-over today and urged him for formulating a suitable policy for SMC teachers (on the analogy of PTA teachers) who were teaching from last four to five years in various government schools of the State. The Chief Minister assured them of considering their demands sympathetically.
Earlier, a delegation from Gwas, district Shimla, led by Meena Maltu, Ex- Pradhan, Gwas and Badrinath, the head of the Gwas Temple Committee called on the Chief Minister at his private residence and felicitated him for becoming the Chief Minister.
