Congress leader from Kangra district Vijay Singh Mankotia has returned to the party fold after five years. Party sources said the issue of readmission was cleared by the Disciplinary Action Committee headed by AK Antony and sent to Sonia Gandhi for approval. The Congress is set to field Mankotia from Shahpur, but final decision will came after the Central Election Committee meeting.
