Former State BJP chief Khimi Ram inducted into the Himachal Cabinet. Governor Urmila Singh administered the oath of office and secrecy to Khimi Ram in a simple ceremony at Raj Bhawan.

Chief Secretary Rajwant Sandhu conducted the proceedings of oath taking ceremony. Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, Public Works Minister Gulab Singh Thakur, Ravinder Singh Ravi, Irrigation and Public Health Minister, Narinder Bragta, Horticulture Minister, Ramesh Dhawala, Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Jai Ram Thakur, Rural Development Minister, Mahender Singh, Transport Minister, Sukh Ram Chaudhary, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, MLAs, BJP leaders, Harinder Hira, Additional Chief Secretary, Dr. D.S. Manhas, Director General of Police, Major Gen (Retd.) C.M. Sharma, Chairman, HPPSC, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of Boards and Corporations, senior civil and police officers were present among large number of people form Kullu district.
