With an aim to protect the environment and make people aware about the steps that need to be taken to conserve energy, the United Nation’s Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has selected Shimla for its Eco-Tourism project. The queens of hill will be the second city after Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh for the project. In Tirupati project was launched in 2010 and is in its final stages.
