Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today sent a draft of Rs. 2 crore to the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Pawan Kumar Chamling from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to lend a supportive hand for speedy rehabilitation of the earthquake sufferers and restoration of the damaged works due to the earthquake that rocked on Sunday last.

It may also be recalled that National President, BJP had also given directions to all the BJP ruled States to help the Sikkim Government and the people of Sikkim in bringing normalcy in the State.

Chief Minister in a letter written to the Sikkim Chief Minister said that the people of Himachal Pradesh are with the people of Sikkim in this tragic hour. He expressed hope that normalcy would soon return to the State.

Chief Minister made a fervent appeal to the people of Himachal Pradesh to contribute liberally to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for this humanitarian and noble cause so that money so collected is sent to the earthquake sufferers and given to the needy.
