Chief Minister congratulates Flight Lieutenant Rajika Sharma, a woman officer in Indian Air Force, her parents, hailing from Kangra district of the State, for successfully conquering the highest mountain in the world, Everest on May 25, 2011. In a message to Flt. Lt. Rajika Sharma, Chief Minister said that the achievement had added another feather in the cap of the State as one more person has added her name to successfully climbing the world highest mountain. He said that the youth of Himachal Pradesh are adventurous by nature and has been participating in such events at national and international level thereby bringing laurel to the State.
Chief Minister said that the achievement of Flt. Lt. Rajika Sharma has not only brought pride to the Indian Air Force and Himachal Pradesh but the nation as a whole.
