Rs 22.50 lakh sanctioned for setting up of information kiosks

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has sanctioned Rs 22.50 lakh for installation of kiosks in the state that will provide instant information to the tourists. Rs. 20 lakh has been released to the State Government and balance amount will be released in the form of reimbursement on the utilization of the sanctioned amount. Kiosks will provide the tourist related information such as important tourist destinations, weather, hotel, railway and bus bookings and other related facilities.
