Minor raped, accused absconding

Rohru Police have registered a rape case against a minor complaint and lookout for the accused, who is at large after the crime. Police said that that a rape case had been registered on the complaint of 17 year victim. In the complaint victim said that she had come to Rohru market on Sunday for purchasing books when she met accused Lalit Manta, a resident of Jagtan village. After treating her for tea at a local Dabha, the victim was taken to a hotel room where the accused sexually abused her. Police said that Medical examination has confirmed the rape. It’s learned that accused is working at Chandigarh and police has sent teams to his native place and Chandigarh to nab him.
