Kabaddi tournament ends at JNV Dugri

Players are admiration of a country and the best performances performed by them yield honor to country. These words were uttered by D.C. Hamirpur Rajinder Singh on the closing ceremony of Kabaddi sports event held at Jawahar Navodya Vidyalya Dungari. He added that now youth is looking future in sports as government is not only providing reservation in jobs but also giving numerous other facilities too. He said the kabaddi was our rural game but also dominating world in this category. Sportsman plays for his team and when at national or international level gains any award he becomes mark of excellence for state and country. In this competition 264 sportsmen of 12 schools from Himachal and Chandigarh zone participated. In under-14 group JNV Solan stood first while JNV Kangra took second position. Similarly in under-17 group JNV Una was winner whereas JNV Kulu was runner. In under-19 group JNV Kangra took first and JNV Chandigarh was at second position.
