MSME minister Virbhadra Singh assured the leather industry of supportive measures that would make it more competitive on the world stage. He said that the ministry will play an important role with healthy encouragement to increase the prominence of the leather sector. It will eventually generate more employment and will also open new doors for the investors. Currently, leather industry contributes 60 percent of net exports and it seems that the minister is keen to develop his ministry’s core contributor.
