62nd Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Hamirpur, Speaker H.P. Vidhan Sabha Tulsi Ram, presided over the function. Speaking on the occasion he said that it was due to sacrifices made by the people of the country that we had gained freedom. He said that the contribution made by the people of the State in freedom struggle was laudable. Tulsi Ram also distributed prizes to the school children who performed variety cultural programs on the occasion. On the occasion MLA Urmil Thakur, was also presented with the other notable dignitaries and local public.
