Food and Civil Supplies Minister G.S Bali has thanked Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Union Petroleum Minister V. Moily, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for increasing the number of subsidized gas cylinders and to de-link them from AADHAR card to give relief to the domestic consumers of the State.
In his press communiqué, Bali said that thousands of LPG consumers of the State would be benefited from this decision and they would get LPG Gas on subsidized rates. He said that the consumers of the State would be able to get the benefit from decision from 10th March, 2014.
Bali said that the state government had raised this issue with the Union Government. Food and Civil Supplies Minister said that the people of the State would get 12 subsidized cylinders of LPG due to of the Chief Minister and his sincere efforts. He said that the Direct Cash Benefit Scheme for LPG would not be implemented in the State for LPG and all the domestic consumers would get the LPG on subsidized rates.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister said that the Congress Government had always ensured to provide various benefits and products of different schemes at lowest rates to the people of the State. He said that the Congress Party had always believed in development and welfare of the people.
