Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS &CA) Priyatu Mandal said that Department had decided to prepare the ration cards of consumers of Urban areas itself to facilitate the people.
He said that one can contact to local Inspector of the Department for preparing the ration card. He said that Department had issued directions to all Regional Officers in this regard. The task of preparing ration cards in rural areas would be done by concerned Gram Panchayats, he added.
