Registration of migrants in Kangra made mandatory

To curve the deteriorating law and order situation and sudden rise in theft cases, the Kangra police has made the registration of all migrants working in Kangra district mandatory. All migrants have been asked to report at the police stations concerned for registration, along with their address proof and character verification, before taking jobs in the district. SSP, Kangra, Daljit Thakur had directed all the police stations in the district to take effective steps for the registration of migrants immediately without any harassment to any one.
