Former Nadaun MLA Mandial likely to join HLP

Newly floated Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) is getting bigger with the day passes. It is learned that former Chief Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Babu Ram Mandial, who was suspended from the BJP, is likely to join the HLP. For his supporters, Mandial is organising a programme at the Nadaun Assembly constituency in which state HLP convener Maheshwar Singh has also been invited. Mandial has confirmed it and it is likely that he can join HLP soon.

Babu Ram Mandial had represented the Naduan Assembly constituency twice, but now he is suspended from the BJP. Once he was considered as a close associate of the first Chief Minister of the state, Dr YS Pramar, but later he shifted to BJP and was also elected on BJP ticket from Nadaun in 1998.
