Youth Congress activists have called for Sankal Rally on 18th June from Barthee, in protest of Raj Kumar Kaundal, son of Deputy Speaker Rikhi Ram Kaundal, MLA from Gehadwin reserve constituency, alleged involvement in irregularities in the tendering process of the PWD. Youth Congress activists are demanding transparency in the case and wanted to know the status of it as they feared that this case can be weakened as son of Deputy Speaker is involved in it.
Earlier, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau had booked Raj Kumar Kaundal in the same case after Court’s Orders. BS Rajpal an engineer in chief of the Public Works Department (PWD), Lekh Ram Mehla and Pyare Singh Dhiman were also booked along with him.
