To draw attention on the widespread prevalence of usage of tobacco and its negative health effects mostly among the youngsters, the NSS and NCC units of GSSS Deha (Balson) organized a rally on “World No Tobacco Day”. Mr. Narinder Singh Negi, Principal of Govt. S S School Deha (balson) flagged off the rally that marched in and around the Deha town.

In this rally the NSS volunteers and NCC cadets shouted slogans and tried to aware people about the bad effects of tobacco and its usages. The rally ended with the acid speech of Jitender Dogra and Radha Suman, Principal NSS program officers. The NCC Care Taker, Rohit Bhandari also addressed the students and advised them to desist tobacco usages. In his speech he also added that the use of tobacco causes a great damage to digestive system and also affect nervous system. He said that student should concentrate on their studies and work on their bright & better future. The also urged the students to make this country a “Tabacoo Free” Nation.
