Tortured for dowry, girl files a complaint

Another case of torture by in-laws, while demanding dowry, has come in the limelight. Sapna Devi, a resident of Nurpur has lodged a complaint in the police station, which mentions her in-laws beating her heartlessly while asking the girl’s parents to give them more money. The police have done a medical check-up to confirm Sapna’s allegations and are looking into the matter further.
